Most agents will tell you they "know" South Tempe. I'll tell you this: my wife, Sarah, grew up in South Tempe. Our kids go to Valley Christian — one of the best private Christian schools in Arizona — just minutes from our front door. When we were choosing where to plant our family, we had the entire Valley to pick from. We picked here. On purpose.
I'm not a general-practice agent who dabbles in luxury. I specialize in $1M+ homes in exactly two zip codes: 85284 in South Tempe and 85248 in South Chandler. The 84/48 corridor. Together, these two zip codes form one of the most underrated luxury markets in the entire Valley — close to everything (Sky Harbor, Scottsdale, the Price Corridor), without the Scottsdale price tag or the far-out isolation of Queen Creek or Gilbert's eastern edge.
I know the streets. I know which neighborhoods look similar on a map and feel completely different in person. I know which lots back up to something that's a problem and which ones back up to something that's an advantage.
